Lion Heart Leadership Africa is a regional brand of the Lion Heart Global Institute, an international leadership institute dedicated to equipping bold, purpose-driven leaders worldwide.
Our Africa initiative is not about bringing solutions in from the outside, it’s about partnering with leaders already creating powerful change and amplifying their work through training, research, and global visibility.
Our Founder
Dr. Lavonya Douglas is an International Organizational Leadership Psychologist, Luxury Leadership Globetrotter, and Global Speaker. With over 23 years of experience in justice reform and community corrections in the U.S. capital, she has led teams, shaped programs, and designed leadership models that balance evidence-based research with real-world impact.
Her journey navigating male-dominated environments, overcoming systemic barriers, and inspiring diverse teams fuels her mission to disrupt the status quo and ensure that women, grassroots leaders, and emerging voices across Africa are empowered and equipped.
